My journey into yoga began unexpectedly; as a baby, I mimicked my father’s movements without realizing the seeds of my passion were being planted. It wasn’t until my college years that this curiosity blossomed into a lifelong commitment.

 

The turning point came during my Master’s program when I was diagnosed with Polycystic Ovary Syndrome. Faced with the prospect of a lifetime of medication, I turned to yoga as a holistic alternative, seeking a path to better health. In that moment, yoga became my ally, nurturing both my body and mind.

 

Driven by my own transformative experience, I felt inspired to help others discover the benefits of yoga. I began using my knowledge to assist individuals with lifestyle ailments, including weight loss and PCOS, fostering healthier ways of living. Today, I focus on empowering others to manage these conditions and inspire preventive measures for overall well-being.

 

As a certified RYS 500 Yoga Alliance instructor in both Ashtanga and Hatha, as well as a RPYS 500 instructor for prenatal and postnatal yoga, I specialize in guiding mothers through the beautiful yet challenging journey of pregnancy. I help them find relaxation and comfort, supporting their reconnection with their bodies during the postpartum period.

 

With additional certifications in Kids Yoga, Mudra Yoga, Nutrition Coaching, and Indian Club & Mace Instruction, I find fulfillment in being part of a community where yoga helps individuals grow and thrive together.
